Calling All Gym Owners: The One Thing You Can Do To Build Your Nutrition Program

As an owner of your gym, you are the leader of your tribe: your staff and community. This means that if you are excited about something, the excitement trickles down!

On the other hand, if you do not make something a priority, neither will your staff or members.

If you are a gym owner who isn’t bought into your nutrition program, I challenge you to reconsider your stance.

Here’s why. If you want your members and community to make nutrition a priority, you need to be practicing what you preach. They watch everything you do. They need to see you walk the walk.

I had a gym owner reach out to me not long ago, asking if he could work with one of the nutrition coaches at our HQ location. I asked him why he didn’t want to work with his nutrition coach who was running HSN.

If he wanted to help his nutrition coach build authority within his community, the best thing he could do was sign up as her nutrition client.

If you are an owner looking to change the culture of your gym to make nutrition a priority, the one thing you can do is sign up to be a nutrition client! Document your journey, how you feel, how your body is changing and how you are recovering after workouts. You should be a testament to your nutrition program.

If you are looking to increase buy-in to your nutrition program within your community, the time is now. Sign up as a nutrition client and have someone to hold you accountable to your health and fitness goals.  After all, we all need a coach!

If you are an owner, thinking, I don’t have a nutrition coach in my gym, you can still start making nutrition a priority by sharing what you are doing to eat healthily and stay on track. Maybe you share your meal prep or your favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner staples.

If you don’t currently have a nutrition coach, it’s time to start thinking about who would be a good fit to help you run nutrition.

Are you leading your tribe and making nutrition a priority in your daily life?
