Berry Protein Smoothie

Mornings can be a little rushed…getting out of the house on time can be a struggle, let alone having the time for a healthy breakfast. Invest in a simple blender like the Nutribullet, small and compact, easy to travel with, and super fast. Not to mention, it takes only a minute to blend up a smoothie in the morning. This simple smoothie is the best way to get some  extra fruits and vegetables in, as well as protein and fiber. Plus, feed the kids this smoothie and they won’t even know there’s anything green in it!

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

-1 cup frozen mixed berries

-1 cup spinach (or other leafy greens)

-1 TBSP flax/chia seed blend (Decadent Blend is a great brand)

-1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (try Vanilla SFH Pure Whey)

-1 cup milk of choice to blend

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender.
  2. Pour and enjoy!
