Today’s podcast guest is Josh Melendez, the owner at CrossFit Be Someone & Nutrition.
Josh bought his CrossFit gym in 2017 and quickly realized nutrition was the missing piece of the puzzle to help his members see the best results possible. He worked with a coach to create a program but they hit some roadblocks.
In 2019, he partnered with Healthy Steps Nutrition. Since then, he has made nutrition coaching a core pillar in his business to support his members, the greater community in Houston, and, now, through employee wellness.
In this podcast, Nicole Aucoin & Josh Melendez discuss:
– The obstacles he faced building a nutrition coaching program on his own
– How he built a nutrition team to support his members and community
– Why he prioritizes community events
– His vision board brunch community event that over 100+ CrossFit gym owners have replicated in 2022
