A question I get asked often is “How many nutrition clients can one coach handle?”
The truth is – it really depends on two main factors:
-
How organized is your nutrition coach?
-
How well your systems are set up?
If you are building everything from scratch, I often hear nutrition coaches tell me they can’t handle more than 8-10.
The problem is, you have many more members and people in your community who need help with nutrition besides eight people.
When you are managing people through spreadsheets and you are manually check-in with them daily, it takes too much time. Even worse, if you don’t have templates and you have to create everything from scratch for each client, you are spending so much time on the back-end.
I remember when I first started Healthy Steps Nutrition, I was frantically writing everything I wanted a client to know down on a piece of paper for them to walk away with. It wasn’t professional and I would end up getting dozens of questions through facebook and email. It was impossible to keep track of conversations.
Those are the struggles with one nutrition coach. Imagine having multiple nutrition coaches all doing different things to manage their clients. Clients will feel they aren’t getting the same value of service.
When partnering with HSN Mentoring, nutrition coaches can handle 30-40 individual clients and more in a challenge.
I have personally worked with over 100 people at one time doing corporate challenges.
The automations within the app make it easy to manage more clients in less time. Some of these automations include weekly video content (nutrition tips, recipes, kitchen tips and mindfulness tips). Nutrition coaches also have the ability to create daily habits for their clients within the HSP app and schedule messages to them.
If you have built a nutrition program and are looking to scale, you need systems in place.
That’s exactly what we do at HSN Mentoring.
We provide the systems for gym owners and nutrition coaches to save time and not reinvent the wheel.
