Are You Missing The Boat? Why You Need To Offer Hybrid Memberships in Your Micro Gym.

Have you heard the buzz about hybrid memberships and are wondering what all the fuss is about?

Today, I’m going to explain what hybrid memberships are and why you need to implement them into your business.

Hybrid memberships are the most effective way to grow a nutrition program.

Why? Because it’s easy for clients to get started with both nutrition and fitness.

First, you need to understand what a hybrid membership means and how you would set it up in your gym.

Hybrid memberships refer to packaging two (or more) services together. For instance, once per week personal training and group fitness classes. Another option is packaging nutrition coaching and fitness programs together.

You might be asking, why is this important?

If a new client is looking to lose weight, nutrition and fitness together is the best solution to help them achieve their goals. By bundling services together, you make it easy for clients to sign up and continue with both services as part of one membership fee.

At HSN HQ, if a client wants to get started with our fitness class they start off with a 12-week journey. This journey includes personal training, CrossFit group and customized nutrition. Once clients finish four personal training sessions, they graduate to CrossFit group classes. They will meet with a nutrition coach or registered dietitian at a minimum once per month.

We have three options based on the number of times per week coming to the gym and accountability with their nutrition coach.

We don’t discount the cost, we just bundle the individual services together to make it easy for a client to sign up for a membership that contains different types of services.

The best time to present hybrid memberships is in a free intro session.

If you aren’t doing free intros, you need to be!

While it takes time to determine what your intake offerings are going to be and how to bundle the options together, it is vital to the success of your nutrition program.

Once you have determined your hybrid membership options, you need to get your entire staff on board. Host a staff meeting and ensure everyone who is doing the free intros is comfortable with the offerings. They need to understand why a membership option with nutrition and fitness will help support clients to reach their goals the fastest.

After that, you make those options live!

After mentoring over 650 gyms worldwide, it is obvious the ones who are doing the best. They bundle their services together and offer hybrid memberships!

Don’t miss the boat.

This is the way of the future with boutique gyms and if you aren’t doing it you are missing the boat because your competition already is or will be offering hybrid memberships soon.

If you are thinking, I don’t know how to do this and I don’t want to screw it up, we can help. The first section of the HSN Mentoring training is helping gym owners nail down their pricing and packages.
