The nutrition business experts at HSN have trained over 4,000 gym owners and coaches to build, launch and grow professional habit-based coaching programs using the Healthy Steps Nutrition holistic framework.

You name it, Lindsay has helped a business through it. Lindsay is our most senior mentor and has been helping gyms build successful nutrition programs since 2017. She is in charge of the initial training process, onboarding new gyms and coaches as well as overseeing the mentor team.
Lindsay specializes in training staff and the free intro process to ensure a consistent message. She works with gyms to create a solid front-end offer to guide new clients to the best option to reach their goals.

Patrick (Paddy) is the owner of Phoenix Rise-Up in Ireland. He leads a team of nutrition coaches and expanded his nutrition coaching program to community partnerships and employee wellness.
He is an international mentor for HSN. He specializes in building rockstar teams, staff engagement and buy-in, and thriving during shutdowns. Patrick is passionate about helping gym owners build wildly successful nutrition programs.

Zach has a passion for service and is our Director of Strategic Partnerships. Since leaving military service in 2008, he has owned and operated five separate CrossFit Affiliates in Las Vegas. He has obtained a CF-L4 credential and has worked on CrossFit Seminar Staff teaching L1 and L2 seminars since 2010. Outside of fitness, his hobbies include video games and competitive shooting sports!

Dan Uyemura

Dan is a career web technologist who scratched his lifelong entrepreneurial itch working in the Los Angeles startup scene. He found CrossFit in 2008 and fell in love with both the humanity of the communities being formed and the new “technology” of fitness and opened a gym in 2010.
This gave him the perfect opportunity to blend his expertise in technology with the pain points of gym ownership as he built PushPress with his co-founders and team.

Sam joins the PushPress team as our Community Manager with a passion for making human connections and investing in the communities around him. He also carries 7 years of gym ownership experience, has worked with hospitals on recreating their wellness programs and even pursued starting his own nonprofit organization to provide fitness and nutrition to underprivileged communities. Cooking, traveling and hiking, or seeking out new experiences are some of his other hobbies!

Dr. Christina Migliara has a Ph.D. in General Psychology, Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and multiple state and national level certifications related to mental health. Christina is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, a USAW Level 1 Coach, and is the owner of CrossFit Tailwinds.
Christina believes mental health is the foundation of everything we do. When mental health is first, the natural progression—people make good choices such as taking care of their physical self. She recommends to her clients and gym members a daily prescription of fitness, nutrition, physical recovery and other mental health supporting hygiene habits.

Dr. Dani Urcuyo
Medical Director, SteadyMD
Dani Urcuyo, MD, IFMCP is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has completed his training with the Institute for Functional Medicine. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Microbiology before completing medical school and his residency at the Cleveland Clinic.
As a long-time recreational CrossFit athlete and coach his interests include using the principles of functional medicine to optimize sports performance, health, and longevity. He currently serves as a medical director and staff physician at SteadyMD/Lemonaid, a fully virtual primary care and functional medicine practice.

Amanda Haar is the lead Registered Dietitian at Healthy Steps Nutrition HQ. Amanda specializes in women’s health and works with clients to optimize hormones through a holistic approach. Amanda has over 15 years of experience with nutrition coaching.
Amanda is a regular guest on the Nutrition Made Simple Podcast and helps with coach development for the Healthy Steps Nutrition Mentoring Program.
