To build Mental Capacity:

  • Utilize a good MHHR

  • Refrain from overtraining

  • Create parasympathetic practices as much as sympathetic practices. ex nature walk, meditation, deep breathing

Helping Clients

  • Coaching others requires us to meet clients where they are at. Evaluating their mental and physical capacity should be a part of the initial assessment process.

  • Create an individualized plan to help clients’ mental and physical capacities stay within their capabilities.

  • Slowly encourage an increase in their intensity pushing the limits of their capacity over time. Communication is key to success.
